Watson told the Grade Cricketer on Thursday, "I don't know his diagnosis exactly but he has just had this underlying fever for the previous couple of weeks."
Australian cricketer-turned-coach further said that it's a big loss for the team to not have Shaw in the team as he is an incredibly skillful young batter and he is unlikely to play the last two matches of league stage. Prithvi Shaw has scored 259 runs in 9 matches in IPL 2022 so far.
