In their 2nd last league game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022, Mumbai Indians’ ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah accomplished yet another feat. Bumrah who clean bowled Washington Sundar on the last ball of the Hyderabad’s innings has become the first Indian fast bowler to complete 250 wickets in T20 cricket. The 28-year-old bowler reached this milestone in 206 T20 matches.

Though Bumrah did not have a great season in terms of a number of wickets this IPL season, the pacer was the most economical bowler for the 5-time IPL champions who had a horrendous IPL outing this year. Bumrah has 12 wickets in 13 matches with an economy of 7.25, which is also the maximum for Mumbai.

After Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is on the list of fastest bowlers to take the most wickets in T20. Kumar has taken 223 wickets, while Jaydev Unadkat is present at number three with 201 wickets.
