IPL 2022 Mega Auction: Avesh Khan makes history, goes to Lucknow Super Giants for ₹10 cr

As expected, Avesh Khan triggered a bidding war on day 1 of the IPL auction on Saturday as the paper was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for ₹10 crore.

Avesh Khan, who had a base price of 20 lakh, is now the most expensive uncapped player ever in IPL history. Krishnappa Gawtham previously held the record when he was bought by the Chennai Super Kings for ₹9.25 crore. 

Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan also earned big as both the uncapped youngsters were sold for ₹9 crore Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings respectively.
