What came as great news for CSK fans, MS Dhoni will return to lead the yellow brigade once again in IPL 2023. Dhoni confirmed his availability for the next season during Chennai Super Kings' last match of IPL 2022.

During the toss, Dhoni said definitely he will return next season and it would be unfair not to say thank you to Chennai. It won't be nice to do that to CSK fans.

Dhoni further added that hopefully, teams would be allowed to move to the different venues like they used to do during the pre-Covid era.

Notably, Dhoni handed over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja ahead of IPL 2022 but had to take the captaincy back after the all-rounder failed to spring any confidence in the side.

The defending champions Chennai failed to qualify for the playoffs in IPL 2022.
