In less than a week's time, the Indian Premier League will begin with Chennai Super Kings playing Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26th, but CSK will be without the services of their most expensive buy, Deepak Chahar.

In front of the MSD led side is a big head-scratching issue of finding an apt replacement for their star all-rounder Chahar, who will miss a major part of the season due to his right quadriceps injury.

However, Irfan Pathan feels, they have a 'fantastic young talent' who can step into Chahar's shoes. Suggesting the name of 19-year-old Hangargekar, Pathan said that with MSD being the leader, their captain behind the stumps, it will make things easier for Hangargekar.

The defending champions who failed to buy back Shardul Thakur bought Hangargekar for 1.5 crores. He played some notable knocks recently in India's Under-19 World Cup victory.
