Dinesh Karthik is on a roll this IPL season, the RCB cricketer has shone brightly for his IPL team on multiple occasions, and his clinical finishing performances so far, have solely led the team to victories in IPL 2022. The veteran wicketkeeper batter who smashed a 34-ball-66 for RCB in their 16-run win against Delhi Capitals said that he is trying everything to make it to the Indian team. He played a brilliant boundary-laden over(4, 4, 4, 6, 6, 4)  against Delhi's Mustafir Rahman that helped RCB post an unexpected 189-run total.

'My main aim is to do something special for the country' said Karthik who has been playing the finest knocks this season and is currently the top run-getter for RCB with 197 runs in 6 matches at a brilliant strike rate of 209.57.

The exceptional 36-year-old who was bought by RCB at 5.5 crores had last played for Team India in the 2019 ODI World Cup, he is now looking to grab a spot in the Indian squad for the upcoming World T20.
