Delhi Capitals would be without their head coach Ricky Ponting during the match against Rajasthan Royals on Friday. Ponting would skip the match as one of his family members tested positive for Covid-19. Ponting himself has tested negative twice but the management and medical team have decided that he will remain in isolation for five days, as he was a close contact.

Notably, Delhi's previous match against Punjab Kings was under the Covid shadow. Then, the venue of the Rajasthan vs Delhi match was shifted to Wankhede from Pune.
