Chasing an easy 116-run target, Delhi openers Prithvi Shaw and David Warner stitched their 4th consecutive 50-run opening stand this season in no time. The duo did not stop there and piled up the highest powerplay score of 81 runs before Shaw was dismissed in the 7th over. David Warner and Sarfaraz Khan, then, took Delhi home in the 11th over.
Earlier, Delhi bowlers were exceptional and took wickets at regular intervals after a 33-run opening stand. Delhi's spin trio of Lalit Yadav (2/11), Kuldeep Yadav (2/24) and Axar Patel(2/10) did the bulk of the damage and took two wickets each. Mayank Agarwal was the highest scorer for Punjab with 24 runs.
