The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) banned journalist Boria Majumdar for bullying and intimidating Wriddhiman Saha after the wicket-keeper batter was dropped from the India Test squad.

Boria is now banned for two years from getting BCCI accreditation as a media person for any domestic or international game played in India.

He will not be able to get any interviews with registered players in India. He won't be allowed to access any cricket stadiums in India,

Notably, BCCI decided to probe the matter after WhatsApp messages between Saha and Boia went viral on the social media platform Twitter.
