Heinrich Klaasen has proven to be the brightest spot for the Sunrisers in a season full of gloom & doom.
His sensational hundred against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, his first in the IPL, was a reminder of how he has grown leaps and bounds as a batter.
The South African has truly come to the party this season even as most others in the side have struggled.
Even in the last game against the Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers were down and out at 59/7 but Klaasen gave their score a sense of respectability with a superb 64 off 44.
And on Thursday night, his fireworks lit up the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad with some stunning strokes.
Walking in with the Sunrisers in a spot of bother at 28/2 in the fifth over, Klaasen counter-attacked and how.
RCB didn't know what hit them. Sixes, fours, there was a galore. Laced with 8 fours and 6 sixes, Klaasen smashed the 2nd fastest ton by an SRH batter off just 49 deliveries.
His incredible knock also took the Sunrisers to a mighty competitive 186.
And even though the Orange Army are already out of the playoff race, Klaasen surely has given them something to cheer about.
