Mumbai Indians have signed Australian fast bowler Riley Meredith for the remainder of the season.

Meredith comes in as a replacement for his compatriot Jhye Richardson, who was earlier ruled out of IPL 2023 due to a hamstring injury.

The 26-year-old was also part of the Mumbai Indians squad in the 2022 season, where he picked up 8 wickets in as many matches for the 5-time champions. Before that, he had also played for the Punjab Kings in IPL 2021.
