After a disastrous World Cup campaign, Indian men's hockey team coach Graham Reid has tendered his resignation to Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey.

India, the hosts for the 2023 edition, finished joint 9th after failing to even reach the quarter-finals of the event.

Under Reid, India had ended a 4-decade long Olympics drought, winning the Bronze medal at Tokyo 2020.

Apart from the 58-year-old, Analytical Coach Greg Clark and Scientific Advisor Mitchell David Pemberton also tendered their resignation.
