Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya steered India to a hard-fought 6-wicket victory over New Zealand to level the series 1-1 in a low-scoring thriller in Lucknow.

Chasing 100, India were unable to gain any sort of momentum and it was eventually another sturdy knock from Suryakumar Yadav that took the team over the finish line.

Earlier, the Kiwis were bowled out at just 99 runs on a pitch that didn't favour the batters and shot-making wasn't easy.

Apart from Arshdeep who took 2 wickets, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Deep Hooda, and Washington Sundar scalped a wicket each.
