New Zealand's rising star Rachin Ravindra may be playing for the Blackcaps but he is still Indian at heart.

The 23-year-old took some time off his busy World Cup schedule and went to his grandmother's house in Bengaluru.

As any Indian grandmother would, Rachin's grandmother first did a 'Nazar utarna' ritual for her grandchild. The video of which has now gone viral.

Rachin Ravindra has been in tremendous form in the World Cup and is one of the top run-getters of the tournament. He has smashed 3 hundreds and 2 half-centuries so far in this World Cup.
