It's a double bonanza for not just many Indian fans but also for Ishan Kishan's parents as coincidently, the Cricket World Cup final is on the same day as Chhath Puja.
Since Kishan is from Patna, while celebrating Chhath, the Indian cricketer's mother Suchitra Singh offered prayers ahead of cricket's ultimate showdown as well on Sunday.
Though the festival is widely celebrated in India but more specifically in the Indian states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Ishaan's father Pranav Pandey said that the whole family was praying to Chhath Maiya for the victory of Ishaan and India.
He added that Ishaan has not come home in a very long time and now the family was hoping that he returns only after winning the World Cup.
