New Zealand posted a challenging 322 for 7 against Netherlands who could only manage 223 in 46.3 overs.
Sent in to bat, New Zealand's batting fired in unison with Will Young scoring a 70 off 80 balls, Rachin Ravindra's 51-ball 51 and stand-in captain Tom Latham's half-century.
Left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner was the stand out New Zealand bowler, picking up five wickets for 59 runs in 10 overs.
Colin Ackermann was the Dutch's lone fighter as he hit a mighty 69 off 73 balls only to be removed by Santner in the 33rd over.
