ODI World Cup 2023 Points table: Afghanistan make big jump to 6th after historic win against Pakistan

Yet another upset in the Cricket World Cup as Afghanistan beat rivals Pakistan by 8 wickets at Chepauk on October 23.

Afghanistan registered their first ever win against Pakistan and climbed from bottom position to 6th in the points table.

Pakistan suffered their 3rd consecutive defeat in the World Cup but still managed to remain at 5th spot.

Pakistan and Afghanistan are followed by Netherlands, Sri Lanka and England who are all tied at 2 points in the table.
