As New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka by 5 wickets on Thursday, the Kiwis not only almost assured themselves of a spot in the World Cup semifinals but also put Pakistan on the brink of elimination.

After the match, Afghanistan cricketers Naveen-ul-Haq and Rahmanullah Gurbaz shared cryptic Instagram stories, possibly targeting Pakistani fans.

Naveen wrote, 'Footwork No Footwork But. Program Abhy sahi se warh gaya.' Gurbaz reposted the story and wrote 'Wargyaa'.

Like Pakistan, Afghanistan is also all but knocked out of the tournament. However, they had a golden chance to script history against Australia in its last match but Glen Maxwell Single-handedly and with 'no footwork' miraculously took the Aussies over the finish line.

After their defeat, many Pakistan fans trolled Afghanistan for their shocking defeat. And it seems that Naveen and Gurbaz's Instagram posts may be in response to that.
