Indian fans may be confident of the Men in Blue beating Australia on Sunday night and lifting their 3rd ODI World Cup title but Mitchell Marsh had predicted otherwise.
Earlier this year around May, the Aussie all-rounder had predicted that his team would thrash India in the World Cup final.
'Australia undefeated, defeating India. Australia 450/2 in the final, India all out 65,' Marsh had said on the Delhi Capitals podcast in May 2023.
Though the Kangaroos are not undefeated in the tournament and had lost their first two games, the Aussies have won 8 games on the bounce since then.
On the other hand, Team India has decimated oppositions and has been on a 10-match winning run in this World Cup.
