The Pakistan cricket team may be facing the heat for their below-par performance at the ODI World Cup 2023 and their former cricketers are also making headlines.

After Australia beat the Men in Green on Friday, ex-Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis during a chat with Star Sport said, 'I'm a half Aussie, don't just call me a Pakistani.'

He was live at that time with former Australia skipper Aaron Finch also a part of the discussion. Though the comment didn't go down well with a few fans but Waqar said it in a funny way.

Notably, Waqar is married to a Pakistani-Australian doctor named Faryal. The couple has three kids and Waqar's family stays in New South Wales in Australian.
