The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), has officially requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to attend the India vs South Africa World Cup game at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 5.
According to India Today, it is anticipated that the Home Minister will be in attendance at one of the most iconic cricket grounds in the country.
Interestingly, the match also coincides with Virat Kohli's 35th birthday. The organisers at CAB have big plans to make the special day memorable for the King.
It won't be the first time that Amit Shah will attend a match during this World Cup. He was also spotted cheering for Team India during the clash vs Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
