Watch! Shakhtar Donetsk players' appeal to Brazilian government after Russia invades Ukraine

The Brazilian players playing for the Ukrainian club of Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kiev who are currently stuck in a country that is being invaded by Russia have made a video for help. 

Shakhtar Donetsk forward Fernando addressed the Brazilian government through a video message posted on his Instagram. In the video, all the Brazilian players who are stuck in a Ukrainian Hotel along with their families requested the Brazilian government to help them reach home.

In the video message, Fernando said, 'We are here to ask for your help to promote this video as we haven't got enough fuel in the city, borders are closed as it is the airspace. Therefore, we cannot leave. We ask the Brazilian government to help, hopefully, they can help us. And you can also help promote this video to reach as many people as possible.'

Russia invaded their neighboring country Ukraine on Wednesday night.
