Luis Suarez began his time in Brazil in sensational fashion, scoring a hat-trick in his debut game for Gremio.
The veteran Uruguayan striker scored three goals in the first half and helped Gremio beat Sao Luiz 4-1 to clinch the Recopa Gaucha.
The 35-year-old moved from Uruguay club Nacional to Brazil's Gremio as a free agent on a 2-year deal.
He scored the first, third and fourth goals for Gremio.
