'Teargassed, treated like animals', chaos at Champions League final venue

The high-octane final clash between Liverpool and Real Madrid that saw the latter eventually win by 1-0 was delayed by 37 mins due to chaos at Stade de France on Saturday. 

Police fired teargas and pepper spray at frustrated Liverpool fans who were forced to wait for a long time despite having the tickets for the UCL final. There were a huge number of supporters who tried to sneak in with fake tickets for the match. Angry fans stood were seen hanging on to the stadium railings and shouting 'Let us in we have the tickets'.

Thousands and thousands of fans out there getting teargassed with tickets, treating them like animals. It's a disgrace, we've seen this before, it's a risk to health, a fan said.  I've got teargas in me and I've not even been teargassed. My lad's there, they're teargassing fans, kids. There's children in there and they're getting teargassed, said another fan at the venue. 

Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid won their record-extending 14th title on Sunday as they defeated Liverpool by 1-0 in Paris where the UCL final was held.
