Son Heung-min, South Korea's captain and Tottenham star ended doubts about his participation at the Qatar World Cup by training with his national team, wearing a face mask.

Son, who is South Korea's most important player and also arguably Asia's biggest football star, was a doubt earlier after he sustained a fracture in his left eye socket during a Champions League match against Marseille.

The 30-year-old had to undergo surgery and missed Spurs' last three games before the World Cup break. But now, images of him training with his team with a face mask come as a big relief for South Korean fans.

He is likely to play the opening game against Uruguay which is scheduled to be held on November 24.
