Shakhtar Donetsk to donate $25 million of Mykhailo Mudryk fee to Ukraine War effort

Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk have pledged a donation of almost $25 million to the country's war effort from the sale of Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea.

Mudryk signed a deal with Chelsea that could go as high as $108 million, a Ukrainian transfer record.

And Shakhtar Donetsk president Rinat Akhmetov pledged approximately $25 million of it to a project named 'Heart of Azovstal' which will help Mariupol city defenders and the families of the fallen soldiers.
