Karnataka beat Meghalaya 3-2 to win the Santosh Trophy on Saturday night at the Fahd International Stadium in Riyad, Saudi Arabia.

As a result, they ended a 54-year-long wait for this special silverware.

Robin Yadhav stood out with a free kick goal while Sunil Kumar and Bekey Oram also found the net. Interestingly, Karnataka had reached the Santosh Trophy final for the first time since the 1975–76 season.
