Sadio Mane's brace helped Liverpool to reach their first FA Cup final in a decade after they edged out Manchester City 3-2 on Saturday.

The high-octane clash started with an early goal from Ibrahima Konaté, who put Liverpool ahead in the 9th minute.

Manchester City tried to stage a comeback with counter-attacks but failed to reduce the deficit. Sadio Mane then extended City's miseries as he doubled the lead in the 17th minute thanks to a howler from City's keeper.

Mane scored his second goal on the brink of half-time as the Reds went into the break with 3-0 lead.

A spirited Manchester City looked like a different team after the breaks as Jack Grealish reduced the deficit as he scored two minutes into the second half.

But Liverpool resisted City's fightback in the second half after the early goal.

However, a stoppage-time goal by Bernando Silva provided a thrilling end to the first semi-final.
