Real Madrid books their berth in the Spanish Super Cup final after winning their 100th El Clasico clash at the King Fahd International Stadium on Wednesday. Carlo Ancelloti's side defeated Barcelona 3-2 for the 5th straight time after Federico Valverde netted a goal in the extra time.

In their 248th meeting, Real took the lead first as Vinicius Junior scored the first goal of the match in the 25th minute, however, Luuk de Jong levelled it before the first half ended. Keeping their game plan strong, Real once again took the lead after Karim Benzema hit the net in the 72nd minute to only see Ansu Fatti equalling in the 83rd minute.
Hitting the final nail in the coffin, substitute Valverde restored the lead in the 8th minute of extra time to help his side win their landmark 100th El Clasico.
