Cristian Romero and Harry Kane scored as Tottenham Hotspur kept their hopes alive for a top-four finish in Premier League after they defeated Brighton 2-0 on Wednesday night.

Tottenham dominated the proceedings in the first half and finally took the lead in the 37th minute when Romero deflected a pass to the back of the net.
The hosts Brighton were no match for Tottenham in the second half too. Harry Kane scored his 95th away goal in the Premier League when he scored on the counter-attack in the 57th minute.
After the win, Tottenham remained in the 7th spot but only three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal and keeping their hopes alive for next season's Champions League qualification.
