Harry Kane scored the opening goal in his 400th appearance for Tottenham Hotspur as Antonio Conte's men moved closer to table leaders Arsenal with a 2-0 victory over Everton.

After a tepid first half, Kane cranked up the game as he scored from the penalty spot in the 59th minute. This was Kane's 10th goal from 9 games in the ongoing Premier League season. He has now scored in 5 EPL games consecutively for the first time.

The lead was doubled later in the 86th minute when Pierre Emile Hojbjerg took a strike that got slightly deflected by Alex Lwobi.
