Arsenal returned to winning ways in the Premier League after facing a defeat from Liverpool in the midweek fixture.
The Gunners made easy work on Sunday as they defeated lowly Aston Villa 1-0 and strengthen their position on the points table.
Arsenal dominated the opening period of the game and kept Villa's defence in check. The Gunners finally took the lead in the 30th minute, when Bukayo Saka fired one home to give his team a 1-0 lead.
After a lacklustre first half, Aston Villa tried to stage a comeback in the second but failed to score the equaliser. Meanwhile, Arsenal remained content with a 1-0 lead thus earning a crucial 3 points.
