Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United this month

Manchester United has said on Wednesday that their star midfielder Paul Pogba will leave the club once his contract expires this month.

In a statement, the club said, "The club can announce that Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United at the end of June, upon the expiry of his contract."

The 29-year old France midfielder left Juventus and joined Manchester United six years ago in 2016 for a then world-record fee of 89 million pounds ($119.96 million).

Pogba, who made his last appearance for the club in April has made 27 appearances for United last season in all competitions but the club finished sixth in the league and missed out on a Champions League berth. 

Pogba played 227 matches in 6 seasons for United where he scored 39 goals and provided 51 assists.
