Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood has been charged with attempted rape, coercive behavior, and assault.
The 21-year-old who was first arrested in January after a young woman posted her images of physical violence on social media was taken in again on Saturday for an alleged breach of bail conditions, British prosecutors confirmed. He was also questioned on suspicion of making threats to kill.
On Monday, the English footballer will appear before the Manchester and Salford Magistrates' court, the prosecutors further informed.

Greenwood has not been playing or training with his team since the allegations emerged. Nike, too also ended its sponsorship deal with him and Electronic Arts also removed him from their Fifa 22 game.
