Paris Saint-Germain confirmed on Sunday that Lionel Messi along with 3 other players have tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, they will miss Monday's French Cup game.

In a statement, PSG stated that apart from Messi, defender Juan Bernat, backup goalkeeper Sergio Rico, and 19-year-old midfielder Nathan Bitumazala were the other 3 to contract the deadly virus. A staff member has also returned a positive result.

Messi has scored only one goal in 11 league appearances for PSG, although he has netted five times in the Champions League.
