Star footballer Lionel Messi will not play in Argentina's World Cup qualifier matches as the management has decided to rest him after he recovered from Covid-19 recently.

Messi was the only Paris-Saint-Germain (PSG) player that is not called for international duty as his PSG teammates Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes were named in the 27-member Argentina squad.

Interestingly, Lionel Messi has missed 10 league games since his arrival at PSG and many are speculating about his fitness.
