Days after a migrant worker died at a team base, the organisers of the FIFA World Cup confirmed another mishap, where a security guard fell to death at Lusail Stadium.

Lusail Stadium is set to host the final on Sunday between Argentina and France.

In a statement, the Supreme Committee of Qatar World Cup said that the security guard was taken to the hospital on Saturday (December 10) and put in intensive care but he succumbed to his injuries three days later on Tuesday.
