Belgium suffered a big blow ahead of their opening game at the FIFA World Cup as their star striker Romelu Lukaku has been ruled out of their first two games, according to a report.

The Inter Milan striker has been struggling with a hamstring injury for the past few months and even missed the Red Devils' first proper training session since their arrival in Qatar for the World Cup.

Lukaku was named in The Red Devil's World Cup squad despite not being fully fit. Belgium will begin their FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign against Canada on November 24th in a Group F match.

He is Belgium's all-time top goal scorer with 68 goals in 112 international matches.
