2018 FIFA World Cup runner-ups Croatia were held to a goalless draw in their Group F opening encounter against Morocco.

2018 Ballon D'or winner and Croatia skipper Luka Modric led the Kockasti in yet another major tournament but was not able to steer his side to the victory in their first game.

Both the teams went for the win but did not manage to make the most of their chances throughout the game with a collective total of only 4 shots on target in the end.

Croatia will be disappointed by their start of the campaign coming into it as last year's runner-ups whereas the Moroccon side will take a lot of confidence from the game into their next matches.
