Speaking ahead of Pele's funeral on Monday, FIFA president, Gianni Infantino told journalists that FIFA will ask every country should name a stadium after Pele.
"We pay tribute to him by asking all the federations now to pay a minute of silence and tribute to Pele," he added.
Thousands of mourners paid their respects to Pele as his coffin was brought to the Vila Belmiro Stadium in his hometown of Santos.
The Brazilian soccer great passed away after a battle with cancer. The three-time World Cup winner was 82.
