Sevilla won the Europa League for a record-extending 7th time after beating Roma 4-1 on penalties in Budapest.

Gonzalo Montiel who scored the winning penalty for his home side Argentine during the World Cup final against France, fired the deciding spot kick for the Spanish side too after the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

While the Spaniards scored all first four penalties, Sevilla keeper Yassini Bounou emerged the star as he saved Gianluca Mancini & Roger Ibanez's strikes.

Earlier Paulo Dybala though provided the lead to his side but Mancini's own goal helped Sevilla equalise in the 2nd half.

Sevilla who have now won all the 7 finals they have played ended the tournament on a high note after a comparatively difficult season.
