Europa League: Ferran Torres scores but Napoli hold back Barcelona 1-1

Although Ferran Torres scored a penalty for Barcelona, they failed to secure a winner as Napoli drew the game 1-1 at Camp Nou in their first leg tie of the round of 32 in the Europa League on Thursday.

While Barcelona dominated the first half, the Italian side secured the lead earlier in the game when Piotr Zielinski netted the goal in the 29th minute. Barca's Ferran Torres, who joined the club in January equalised in the 59th minute with a penalty. Despite being on the front foot all throughout, the Xavi-led side missed several opportunities to score a winner.  

Barcelona who is making its first appearance in the competition in 18 years will next see Napoli on 24th February in Italy.
