Lionel Messi wasn't present at training on Friday and will miss his second game with Inter Miami.
Messi returned to Inter Miami's lineup on Wednesday night, but it was a short-lived comeback.
Messi was subbed off in the 37th minute of Inter Miami's match against Toronto, after spending a few minutes labouring with what appeared to be a leg issue. Miami came up big without him, winning 4-0 to move within five points of the final playoff spot in Major League Soccer's Eastern Conference.
The Argentinean won't take any part in the game against Orlando City on Sunday and doubts remain if he can play in the team's U.S. Open Cup final next Wednesday.
