Real Madrid's power-packed comeback stunned Liverpool as the Reds suffered a humiliating 5-2 loss in the first leg of their round of 16 game at Anfield.

The Reigning European Champions were 2-0 down within the first 14 minutes as Darwin Nunez and Mohd Salah found the net for Jurgen Klopp's team in the 2nd and 14th minutes.

However, Vinicius Junior struck twice in the 21st and 36th minutes to level the game. Eder Militao with his header in the 47th minute and Karim Benzema's brace piled more miseries on the hosts who suffered their biggest-ever Champions League defeat and are now on the brink of elimination.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen and Giovanni De Lorenzo struck as Napoli defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 in their round-of-16 game in Frankfurt.
