English club Chelsea's struggles continued even in the Champions League as they went down 1-0 at Dortmund in the Round of 16 first-leg tie.

Karim Adeyemi's sensational solo goal in the 63rd minute was enough for the German side to clinch victory at home.

While Chelsea had 21 shots on the night, they failed to get past Dortmund's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.

While the Blues failed to capitalise on a plethora of chances, Emre Can's brilliant last-ditch save in the second half ensured Dortmund take a 1-goal advantage to the second leg.
