Dutch forward Arnaut Danjuma snubbed Everton's deal to join Tottenham Hotspur on loan from Villarreal.

The 25-year-old footballer has joined on a short-term deal, he will remain at the club until the end of the 2022-23 season, Spurs confirmed in a statement.

Interestingly, Danjuma had been expected to join Everton and reportedly had given his medical examination there before Tottenham made their move and convinced him to join the north London-based outfit.

Tottenham is in fifth place in the Premier League, three points off the top four, and still in the FA Cup and Champions League.
