Delhi Police registers FIRs against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh over sexual harassment allegations

Delhi Police officials have confirmed that 2 FIRs have been filed against former WFI President Brijbhushan Sharan Singh over sexual harassment allegations.

The police officials confirmed that both FIRs have been registered at the Connaught Place Police Station.

The first FIR pertains to allegations levelled by a minor victim which has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, while the second pertains to outraging modesty.

Under POCSO Act, the accused has to be taken into remand by the police and it remains to be seen when former WFI Chief is taken into custody by Delhi Police.
