Contrary to reports claiming Josh Hazlewood of being certain in the Australian playing XI for the WTC final vs India, the pacer will have to wait for the final day to be confirmed as a starter.

Ahead of the final, Hazlewood said that though the chances of him playing are high, it's the 'matter of ticking off every session from here till that date.'

Hazlewood featured in only 3 matches for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the recently concluded IPL before a side injury flared up.

The right-arm quickie believes that it was due to bowling in T20s which aggravated his injury but is now on the right track to recovery.
