WPL 2023: RCB rope in Ben Sawyer as head coach of women's team

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have appointed former Australian cricketer Ben Sawyer as the head coach of their Women's Premier League team.

Sawyer, who is currently the coach of the New Zealand women's cricket team, will now shoulder the additional responsibility of coaching RCB Women. 

Sawyer has prior T20 franchise coaching experience with the Sydney Sixers in the WBBL & the Birmingham Phoenix Women in the Hundred. He has also served as an assistant coach with the Australian women's team in the past.

Meanwhile, Malolan Rangarajan has been named the head of the scouting team by the Royal Challengers.
