BCCI might land itself in some logistical trouble next summer as the World Test Championship final could be held immediately after the final of the Indian Premier League's 2023 edition.

While the WTC final is set to take place at The Oval, England tentatively from June 7th to 11th, the IPL 2023 final could be on either May 28th or June 4th, as per reports. A confirmation from ICC and BCCI is, however, awaited.

A BCCI official told InsideSport that the Indian board will try and avoid any potential clash with the WTC final and will also look after the potential problem of players' availability during IPL's later stage.

India are currently ranked 4th in the Test rankings. With 6 Tests remaining (2 Tests vs Bangladesh, 4 Tests vs Australia) before the WTC final, Rohit Sharma's men can possibly make it to the top 2 and in that case, BCCI, the selectors and team management would have to do a lot of balancing.
